iHarpFest acknowledges that the city of Toronto is located on the traditional territory of many Nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. This land is part of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to peacefully share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today, Toronto is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We recognize and respect their enduring connection to this land and are grateful for the opportunity to live and work on this territory.
